Allen Family Christmas 2010

The 11th of December we all got together to celebrate Christmas and Memaw and Granddaddy’s 65th wedding anniversary.  We had a grand time spending the weekend together in Blue Ridge.

I tried to take a picture of us together in front of the tree with her ornament behind us but it didn’t work so well.  She was more interested in what I was doing and the milk shake and I couldn’t keep my eyes open!  Oh well.

Addison’s silliness

Here she decided to take Macy’s bowl (yes clean) and transfer her gold fish to it….    In the next picture she is painting my hand with imaginary paint and making imaginary hand turkeys on the couch.

Christmas Tree Pickin

The first weekend in December Uncle Nate, Aunt Taryn and Declan went with us to pick out our tree.  We went to the Patterson tree farm that we have been going to for the last 3 years.  We all had a great time picking out the tree and feeing the mini cows they had as well.  These cows are what have Addison asking Santa for bread this year.

Addison’s First Trip to the Zoo

Saturday Uncle Nathan and I took Addison to the zoo.  We had a great time seeing all the animals.  Here are some pictures from our fun trip.

 

She told us after we left that the Elephants were her favorite.

 

She was very concerned and pointed out every animal that didn’t have any water.

Addison LOVED the Miercats.  She loved that they live in a big sandbox. The lions woke up and walked up near the glass while we were there to get into the sun
