Halloween and Christmas display at Lowes. We walked in and I hear addi saying WOW!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! no idea why… (picture of her below is an after the fact reaction). I turn around to see this display. As we got farther away she waved and told it bye bye.

Tonight while I was drying Addi's hair she decided to slide into the sink and play with the water.

Dinner Time!

She was all done with her pasta dinner and then daddy sat down in the chair next to her with his big turkey sandwich.... that got her appetite going again. She instantly reached over and grabbed it while asking for more. She got a piece of turkey while daddy ate. she ended up eating a whole bowl of pasta, 1/4 of daddys turkey sandwich and some cheezits.

Thats my happy girl! She carried the empty pasta bowl and her fork all the way up to bed. Finally she said she was done and handed them over before she laid down for sweet dreams!

Trash!

Trying to get them to repeat something uber cute never works but here is a video.

The first time she did this today she said 'trash, trash, trash' over and over and swung her little arms side to side with purpose all the way to her room.

just now in the kitchen addison grabbed a sippy out of her diaper bag (we just got home from daycare). She took a sip, looked at me with a big smile and said 'Water!' her next sip she dribbled a bit said uhoh and began frantically looking around for something to wipe it up with. I handed her a kleenex and she proceeded to wipe the floor up of her water dribble!!!

Its a Boy and Cheesecake Factory

Today we joined the family for Uncle Nate and Aunt Taryns 3D ultrasound. They found out they are having a baby boy due April 15th YAY Congrats!

After, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Here is a short video of how Addison kept us entertained. Aunt Krista has a video of her tasting a lemon. That was pretty funny too!

Yes, it was an awful game but we had a good time with good friends. For all of you who always want pics of Mamma and Addi here ye go!

Halloween 2009

This year Addison went as a pirate for Halloween. We went to Mike and Tenise's house for the UGA vs FL game where she was dressed as an adorable Georgia fan. By the time we got home she was too tired to trick or treat. She got all dressed up and was ready for bed. She was a cute Pirate though!

Snack Time!

This past weekend AB spent the weekend with Grandmommy and Grandpoppy. Saturday after nap time she tried one of mommy's most favorite snacks ever. MUSHY CAKE!!!! Surprisingly she enjoyed it. I didn't expect her to like that much chocolate.

Whats new?

Well... Several things.

Addison has recently begun to put words with the correct objects. She knows and says the colors yellow, blue and purple. She called mom and dad's dog Macy by her name. she knows many animals by sight and when she sees them she'll call their name and make the noise associated with it. She fed herself with a fork and spoon for the first time last night and was very proud of herself. She says 'BOO' when something that was hidden is not anymore for example. I had hidden her paci under the pillow the other morning (she doesn't get one unless she is asleep). She saw me put it there and after getting dressed she lifted the corner of the pillow and said 'BOO!' to the paci.

I was talking to her head teacher Mrs. Dayanna this morning and she said when the last bigger kid (20 months) moves up Addison is going to be the leader in the 14-20 month old room at a young 16 months. She said she follows directions and is so much more advanced than a lot of the 18 month old babies. That makes momma and daddy very proud!

She also recognizes when someone does something nice and says 'da dou' (Thank you)

She saw Clifford on TV the other day and squealed with delight and screamed DDDDDDDDDAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWGGGGGG!!! then began to pant and repeat dog dog dog over and over.

At night after dinner I say lets go upstairs for our bath. she goes upstairs and into the bathroom and tries to take off her clothes. Then after bath once she has on her jamies she goes to the blue pillow in the floor and lays her head down for book and mommy cuddles. It really is too cute! I asked her to get the purple book for her bedtime story and she picked up the purple book out of the stack for us to read. Once I am done reading she grabs the book and turns page by page and reads to me. Of course most of it I can't understand but when she recognizes something she says it correctly.

More pictures to come! This weekend is her first weekend away from home without mommy and daddy. Grandmommy and Grandpoppy are keeping her in Blue Ridge Friday and Saturday so mommy and daddy can have some much needed time together for date night. Then Sunday we're going to the pumpkin patch.
