A Warm Saturday

Recently we had a warm Saturday. We went early in the day and painted some pottery and then went and played ball at Suwannee Town Center to enjoy some sun!

Cave Time!!

Addi’s class made a cave and talked about hibernation at school.  They each took in a teddy bear and the bear stayed in the cave for a week.  That had Addi very interested in caves so we made one at home during our snow week! SAM_0218

Time for Reading!!

This girl loves to read.  She prefers to read us her bedtime stories.  Currently its ‘Over The Moon (Goodnight Moon)’ (audio to be posted shortly) Here she is showing me the animals and telling me their colors and sounds.

Chenoweth Family Christmas

Christmas Day afternoon we headed up to Hartwell to join the Chenoweths for Christmas.  We had a great time with everyone.  Addison and Evan seem to play better together every time they see each other.

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas.  This year Addison was beginning to understand what was going on more.  When we would do the Advent calendar leading up to Christmas she would ask every day if she could play with God before bed.  One evening when I was cooking dinner I asked if she would like to help and she replied ‘no thanks mommy, I’m playing with God.’ she would open and close the doors and talk about what she saw on the calendar, the animals and baby Jesus.

When we went to see Santa, she asked him for bread to feed the cows (from the Christmas tree farm) suckers and a ride on the jet ski which then turned in to her own jet ski as well.

Here is Addison seeing the cupcakes Santa ate and reading her letter from him
