Blue Ridge Visit Part 1
Presidents Day weekend Addison and I visited Mimi and Papa in Blue Ridge. We had a great weekend at the park and the Fire and Ice chili cook off and ice sculpting festival.
Addison had a great time wearing all of Mimi’s shoes. Here she is in a pair of her boots.
Here we are at the restaurant after a wonderful dinner. It was difficult breaking Addi away from the iPod for a picture.
Here are a few of the ice sculptures that were in front of the shops on E. Main St.

Potty training update
Ms Addison started in big girl panties on a permanent basis on the 5th of Feb. She has had 1 accident since then and it was at school. We found that the longer she was staying in pull ups the more she thought she was being given permission to go in them. We still use them over night just to be safe but so far so good. She loves getting up in the morning and picking out which pair she is going to wear… I think its a bigger deal than her shirts and pants!
Addi’s First Wrestling Tournament
Addison got to go to Wrestling Sectionals last Saturday. Our friend Josh coaches for East Coweta and they were at Central Gwinnett. She really got into it. At one point on our way up the steps everyone else started yelling, she stopped, turned around started clapping and yelling right along with them!
Here is a picture of Addi, Mrs. Evelyn and Mommy.
A Warm Saturday
Recently we had a warm Saturday. We went early in the day and painted some pottery and then went and played ball at Suwannee Town Center to enjoy some sun!
Snow Days
Monday we had a nice blanket of snow topped with ice.. we had a good time playing and throwing snow balls at each other.
Tuesday daddy attempted to make an ice angel… no luck.
Wednesday….
Addison decided she’d had enough and grabbed her wagon and headed up the hill…
when we asked where she was going.. she yelled Chic a lake (chic fil a)… apparently she was sick of being snowed in too…
Cave Time!!
Time for Reading!!
This girl loves to read. She prefers to read us her bedtime stories. Currently its ‘Over The Moon (Goodnight Moon)’ (audio to be posted shortly) Here she is showing me the animals and telling me their colors and sounds.
