Moving to Her Big Girl Bed!

For the last week Addison has wanted nothing to do with her crib. One night I couldn't take it anymore so I pulled her matress out and put it on the floor. She was so excited and looked at me with wide eyes and said 'Mommy!! It's like a big girl bed!' that was when I knew it was time.

This weekend we put her bed together and got new bedding. Here are some pictures from her first night sleeping like the big girl she has become.

Addison’s 2nd Birthday

Cherry Pickin in Blue Ridge

A few weeks ago we went to visit Mimi and Papa so Daddy could see the restaurant.  While we were there we all went and picked cherries!  Addi loved it and learned pretty quick how to spit out the seeds (or the entire cherry…).

 

 

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day weekend Mimi and Papa opened their new restaurant in Blue Ridge The VH and Blue Orleans Bistro.  Mommy went up and helped them out for a few days while Addi and Daddy went to the lake.  Sunday, Mommy joined up with the family for some boat rides. Here are a few pictures from the fun.

While we were in  Jamaica, Zack and I met a wonderful artist Aubin Dunkley.  He took a picture of Addi and drew her!

 

Visit with friends and Mothers Day

Saturday afternoon we went to visit the Herrings.  Matt was Zack’s roommate throughout college.  He was just published in a well known medical journal and will be getting is PhD in December after getting married in November! Congrats Matt.

Sunday, we met up with Mimi Papa and Uncle Nathan at Capers in Marietta for Brunch then we hung out around the house for a lazy Sunday!

Addi and Daddy Time

When we got back, Mommy had to go back to work but Daddy had 4 more days off!  He and Addi had a fun time going to the park and playing around the house.

Mimi and Papa kept Addison while mommy and daddy were gone.  Here are some pictures of their fun.

Jamaica!

Mommy and Daddy took a week long trip to Jamaica for an early anniversary celebration.  It was a blast!  We will definitely go back (next time Addi will come with us).  Here are a few pictures from our fun trip.

Zack learned how to sail… Then we went out with a guide on Tuesday.
