Visit to Memaw and Grandaddys

Visit to Grandmom and Grandpoppys

Mommy and Addison went and spent a week at Grandmom and Grandpoppy's house. Here are a few pictures from the visit.

Here is a pic of Ms. Addison at her first restaurant. Grandmom and Grandpoppy took mommy and Addison to visit Uncle Nathan at work (The River Room yummy). She slept the whole time!

Excited Mommy

Today Mommy weighed herself for the first time since before Ms. Addison was born and was very excited to see that she has lost all of her 23lbs of baby weight plus an additional 13 lbs! She has fit into pre-pregnancy clothes for several weeks but had not had access to a scale to see what the numbers show. Now to lose another 30 by Christmas!!

Addison 3.5 weeks

Swinging time

A week or so ago we discovered that Addison really does like her swing!! She has started following the light and the fishes that go around in circles. She'll watch one until it gets out of her site then move on to the next.

Happy 1 month birthday baby!!!

Today we celebrated Addison's 1 month birthday with an early trip to the dr for her 1 month check up. Our big girl weighs 9lbs 8.5 ozs and is 21 3/4 inches long. She also got her second hep B shot and boy was she an unhappy baby after that! The dr said she is in fact not teething but has a cyst on her lower gum. She said it will go away on its own and is very common.

After Daddy went to work Mommy and Addison continued the birthday celebration with and nap and then a trip to Target to get the Vitamin D and Cortizone the doctor asked us to get.

Teething??

On Monday I noticed a white rough spot on Addison's lower right gum. At first I thought it may be thrush but she only has one white spot and no loss of appetite thats for sure. I had Zack stop on his way home and pick up some baby orajel. I put a very small amount her her gum and with in 60 seconds she stopped crying for the first time in hours and fell asleep. This could explain why she has been so fussy at unusual times of day and her inability to sleep much at night. We go to the doctor Friday AM and will ask the doctor to see for sure. As soon as I can snap a picture I'll post it!

4th of July

On the 4th of July we all got together at Zack's parents house in Hartwell.









Long day in the sun made Addison and Grandpoppy tired.
