Oreo

Addison had her first Oreo last night. I didn't expect her to like it since she has never been one for sweet things, especially chocolate, but she ate the whole thing and then asked and signed for more!

Sharing

Two days in a row now Addi has turned to me either just before or just after and says 'poop'. Wonder if we should try the training potty.

She has also started picking up tissues and blowing her nose. My they learn so quickly.

Blue Yellow and Two

A few weeks ago Addison pointed to the vacuum cleaner and said 'Blue'. Our vacuum cleaner just happens to be blue. Yesterday, she was drinking out of a yellow sippy and looked at me, pointed and said 'yellow' I looked at her in amazement and asked her what she said, she repeated 'yellow'. Later, at Target there was a yellow wall in the toy section. She pointed to it and repeated 'yellow' 4 or 5 times. While we were in Hilton Head, she was not obaying so i began to count Mommy: 'Addison come here please... Addison come here please..... ONE' Addison (with the biggest you're going to be proud of me smile on her face): 'Two!' I melted and began to laugh. it was sooo cute. how could I be mad? Needless to say, I don't count when trying to make a point anymore =D

Walk the Line

When we were on the way back to the car, Addison found a line in the sand and began to follow it.

Vacation 2009 Day 1

Here are some pictures from our first full day in Hilton Head. We arrived Saturday evening and are staying through the following Saturday the 12th.

We took a short trip over to the beach. This was Addison's first beach experience. It took her a bit to get used to the water and sand, but once she was she didn't want to leave.

Addison wrote an A in the sand.

We were walking back to the car and she stopped and laid down in the sand. she was kicking her feet up like she was a little model.
